We are a small used record, tape, and CD store in Hamden, Connecticut, in operation since 1989. Prior to 1989, we had worked at a small music store in New Haven, but upon that store's closing, we decided to continue the tradition of providing quality items to our friends and customers. In 2007, we relocated to Whitney Avenue in Hamden, CT, after 18 years at the Saw Mill Plaza in West Haven!

Our store hours are as follows:

• Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Saturday - 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  
• Sunday, 12 - 5 p.m.
• Closed Wednesdays and Snowy Days!

However, we have been known to take an extra day off for some "getaways," so you may want to call us first before visiting the store.

Although we have a good selection of CD's and cassettes, we're known for our extensive selection of quality and reasonably-priced new and used vinyl. "Quality" is a term that is often used too loosely. We stress the importance of the quality of our albums by painstakingly cleaning them before they are shelved and also grading the vinyl on the price tag (on a scale of Near Mint / Very Good + / Very Good). We see to it that you do not need to do the "guess work" of grading vinyl for yourself by employing the annoying task of removing the record from the sleeve and checking it under a light. This is just one example of how we go the extra mile to ensure a pleasurable shopping experience for each and every customer.
